Further information: | LNXRO2 is a lac repressor-regulated retroviral expression vector. It contains the RO2 unit, consisting of the Rous sarcoma virus long terminal repeat (RSV-LTR) promoter, two modified lac operators inserted upstream of and downstream from the transcription start in the SV40 intron sequence, and the Herpes simplex virus (HSV) thymidine kinase polyadenylation signal (TK polyA). Unique BglII, HpaI, SgfI and NotI sites are available for cloning. The RSV-derived promoter is placed antisense relative to the Moloney mouse leukemia virus long terminal repeat (MMLV-LTR). The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727329.1. |
