Further information: The plasmid was created by cloning a Gateway cassette into the pC2HB vector.
This Gateway destination vector is meant as a bait plasmid for yeast two-hybrid analysis, in which the gene of interest can be cloned via Gateway recombination.
The plasmid can be linearised by NotI restriction to allow genomic integration.
This Gateway destination vector is compatible with the human orfeome library which is also available at BCCM/GeneCorner.
The nucleotide sequence of the S. aureus lexA cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number AY033082.1.
Other name of the plasmid is pC2HB-gc.
EMBL Accession number: AY033082.1, view at EMBL, GenBank, DDBJ

Authenticity test: This plasmid has been fully sequenced but the NGS sequence data still need to be implemented.
