Morphological identification by light microscopy

Cyanobacterial strains or environmental samples can be sent for morphological identification of their cyanobacterial community. The description is based on light microscopy and will include the aspect of culture, the morphological description and the identification of the Cyanobacteria following Komàrek et al. (1998; 2005; 2013).

If desired, we can also discuss the possibilities to supplement the morphological analysis by the isolation of the different morphotypes and identifying them more precisely by using 16S rRNA /ITS sequencing.
