BCCM contributes to the exhibition THE MOON: between Dream and Reality organized all summer long at the Royal Palace.
Initiated by the Federal Science Policy (BELSPO), the exhibition offers the public an original vision of art and science through art and research objects from the federal cultural and scientific heritage. This 2019 edition commemorates the 50th anniversary of one of humanity's wildest dreams: walking on the Moon!
BCCM presents for this occasion a space adventure at the microscopic scale. Moon, sun and flying saucer, for which the actors are marvellous fungi (BCCM/MUCL) and microalgae (BCCM/DCG).
The exhibition runs from 23 July to 25 August, from 10.30 to 15.45 (last entries), at the Royal Palace, Place des Palais in Brussels.
In partnership with the Prime Minister's Chancellery, the BELSPO exhibition brings together the Belgian Comic Strip Centre, the National Geographic Institute (IGN) and the ten federal scientific institutions.
