Further information: | LNXCO4 is a lac repressor-regulated retroviral expression vector. It contains the CO4 unit, consisting of the human cytomegalovirus immediate early promoter (CMV-IE), with three lac operators inserted downstream from and one lac operator upstream of the transcription start in the SV40 intron sequence, and the Herpes simplex virus (HSV) thymidine kinase polyadenylation signal (TK polyA). Unique BglII, HpaI, SgfI and NotI sites are available for cloning. The CMV promoter is placed antisense relative to the Moloney mouse leukemia virus long terminal repeat (MMLV-LTR). The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727331.1. |
