|Cloned DNA:||Yersinia enterocolitica anti-host protein T gene (yopT)
Bordatella pertussis calmodulin-dependent adenylate cyclase cDNA (cyaA); fragment (cyaA')
|Promoter:||Yersinia enterocolitica anti-host protein E promoter (yopE)|
|Selection marker:||Chloramphenicol (cam)|
|Replicon:||Broad-host-range plasmid RK2 origin of transfer (oriT)
Escherichia coli plasmid p15A origin
|Host range:||Escherichia coli
Gram-negative bacterial strains
|Parental clone:||pAB28; pMSL56|
|Further information:||The plasmid was constructed by PCR amplifying the first 124 codons of Y. enterocolitica yopT from pAB28, and fusing it to B. pertussis cyaA'. This hybrid gene was cloned downstream from the yopE promoter in the pACYC184-derived pMSL56 vector.
This is a reporter plasmid for YopT delivery inside macrophages via the adenylate cyclase reporter strategy.
B. pertussis cyaA' is a fragment of the B. pertussis cyaA gene, containing nucleotides 4 to 1197.
Other name of the plasmid is pMSL56 PyopE yopT124-cyaA'+.
