| Further information: | The E6Hy3 insert is a fusion between the HindIII-HinFI fragment of pSV23SE6H, encoding L, VH and 2/3 of CH1 of a mouse IgG2b heavy chain, and the HinFI-SalI fragment of pATHIG32, encoding the last 37 amino acids of CH1, the complete hinge region, CH2 and CH3 of the human γ3 heavy chain. The E6Hy3 insert encodes the complete mouse: human chimeric heavy chain of the anti-tumor antibody E6(Hy3,κ). The chimeric CH1 domain contains 60 amino acids of mouse (E6H) and 37 amino acids of human (hIG3) origin. The mouse part of this vector consists of cDNA; the human part consists of genomic DNA. Other name of the plasmid is pATHy3. |
