Plasmid name: pATHIG2 (LMBP 1673)
|Price category:||Cat. 1 (cf. price list)|
|Status:||GeneCorner non-core plasmid|
|Cloned DNA:||Human immunoglobulin γ2 genomic DNA (hIG2); fragment of the constant portion of the heavy chain
|Selection marker:||Ampicillin (amp)
|Replicon:||Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin|
|Host range:||Escherichia coli|
|Further information:||The hIG2 gene was isolated from the partial HaeIII-AluI human genomic library (Maniatis) and subsequently cloned as a HindIII fragment of approx. 6000 nucleotides in the unique HindIII site of pAT153.
The possible expression of the tetracycline resistance gene was not tested.
The sequence from base position 2039 to approx. 6038 is unknown !!!
U-BalI only cuts in dcm negative strains !!!
The nucleotide sequence of hIG2 used for the computer map is taken from the publication of Ellison and Hood (1982).
Other name of the plasmid is pATHuIG2 !!
