| Further information: | This plasmid was constructed as follows: pUC18RD3R was opened with EcoRI and filled-in with Klenow DNA polymerase. After digestion with XbaI the dopamine receptor (rD3R) was isolated and ligated into the StuI-XbaI opened pATHIL6pA. In this way the rat dopamine D3 receptor became under control of the hIL6 promoter. The nucleotide sequence of the genomic human IL6 DNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number AC073072.11, except for the C nucleotide at promoter position -174 (polymorphism mutant) which was changed into a G nucleotide (wild type). Other name of the plasmid is pATHIL6PrDop3R. |
