| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed as follows: the BsaI (Eco31I)-XhoI fragment of pBLmIL6CAT, containing a part of the ampicillin resistance gene and the mouse IL6 promoter, was ligated to the BsaI (Eco31I at position 5299)-XhoI fragment of pATHIL6HIFNG, containing the human IFNγ cDNA, the pMB1 origin and the completing part of the ampicillin resistance gene. pATmIL6hIFNG contains the SV40 small t-antigen splicing signal. It also contains three SV40 polyadenylation segments; hence, the possibility might exist that the plasmid could loose information by homologous recombination. The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727371.1. The nucleotide sequence of the genomic mouse IL6 DNA corresponds with the Genbank accession number M20572.1. |
