|Further information:||The plasmid contains mCdh1 cDNA preceded by the Ac promoter and the HSV-TK promoter, and can be used for expression in mammalian cells.
The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727351.1.
The nucleotide sequence of the plasmid was compiled from personal data from Dr Nagafuchi (Faculty of Science, Department of Biophysics, Kyoto University, Japan), as well as from the data in Nose et al. (1988) and in Nagafuchi et al. (1987); it still contains some uncertainties. The 802 bp EcoRI fragment of the 3' untranslated region of mCdh1 was removed. The remnant of the multicloning site of pIBI76 at the 3' untranslated region of mCdh1 (nucleotide position 1772 to 1878 of pBATEM2) and the TK promoter region (nucleotide position 4900 to 5300 of pBATEM2) was sequenced at the Department of Biomedical Molecular Biology (Ghent University, Belgium).
The nucleotide sequence of the Ac promoter region and of the 5' UTR of the chicken β-actin gene correspond with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number X00182.1.
The nucleotide sequence of the mCdh1 cDNA corresponds with EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number X06115.1.
