Parental clone: | pBC-SK+; pUT703 |
Further information: | The plasmid was created by cloning the phleomycin resistance cassette from pUT703 as an EcoRI/HindIII fragment into the pBC SK+ vector. Name used in Silar et al. (1995) is pBC-phleo. The nucleotide sequence of the gdpA promoter corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number M33539.1. Since the nucleotide sequence of the pBC-Phleo vector could not be completely traced back, there is uncertainty as to the cutting frequency of the restriction enzymes, except for the sites that were analysed in the authenticity test. |
