Further information: The plasmid was constructed by cloning the synthetic Streptomyces lavendulae mcrA coding sequence into the NotI/EcoRV opened pBR322 vector.
The mitomycin resistance gene can be used as a resistance marker in mammalian cells (Belcourt et al., 1999).
Other name of the plasmid is pBR322-NotI-mcrA-EcoRV.
