|Further information:||Sequencing the E6L2 gene was a confirmation for the DNA sequence of the E6L gene.
E6L2 is a second characterised cDNA copy of the light chain of the mouse anti-hPLAP monoclonal antibody E6(IgG2b,κ) which was cloned in the unique PstI site of pBR322 by dG/dC-tailing.
The main differences with pBRE6L are :
1) the clockwise orientation of the E6L2 gene in pBRE6L2;
2) the 3' untranslated region of E6L2 is 22 nucleotides longer;
3) the 5' untranslated region of E6L2 is 17 nucleotides shorter.
Other name of the plasmid is pBRE6LE1.
