|Further information:||The plasmid was constructed as follows: the XhoI-NruI fragment of pBRphoAE6L (containing the tac promoter and the sphoA-E6L fusion) was inserted between the SalI and NruI sites of pBRsE6Hy3f2. After translation the E6Hy3f2 fragment contains the first 27 amino acids of the original CH2 domain, followed by 4 amino acids derived from the cloning strategy and the multi-stop-linker.
This plasmid is similar to pBRsE6Hy3f2, but it contains also the sphoA-E6L fusion gene preceded by the tac promoter downstream from the sphoA-E6Hy3f2 fusion.
The plasmid is used for expression of the anti-hPLAP F(ab')2 fragment of the chimeric E6Hy3 antibody in E. coli.
The presence of the lacI(q) repressor gene is necessary to control the activity of the tac promoter.
Name mentioned in Flamez et al. (1995) is pBRphoAcHy3F(ab')2.
