Cloned DNA: Mouse cadherin 3 cDNA (Cdh3, Cadp, P-cadherin, Pcad, Cdhp, GeneID 12560)
Promoter: Chicken β-actin promoter (ACTB)
Escherichia coli lac operon promoter
Ribosome
binding site:
-
Terminator: Simian virus 40 polyadenylation signal (SV40 polyA)
Selection marker: Ampicillin (amp)
Replicon: Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Host range: Escherichia coli
Mammalian cells
Parental clone: pβact-CAT9; P-cad/BLSC
Further information: The plasmid was constructed by isolating the mouse Cdh3 coding sequence with its flanking UTRs from P-cad/BLSC as a HindIII-SmaI fragment, and cloning it into the HindIII-HpaI opened pβact-CAT9 vector.
The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727542.1 except for some changes in the 5' UTR and 3' UTR of mouse Cdh3.
The nucleotide sequence of the mouse Cdh3 cDNA corresponds with the Genbank accession number NM_001037809.5.
The nucleotide sequence of the 3' part of the ACTB promoter region and of the 5' UTR of the chicken β-actin gene correspond with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number X00182.1
Name mentioned in Nose et al. (1988) is pβact-Pcad.

Latest sequence update: 30/03/2022
Authenticity test: Restriction enzyme pattern analysed at GeneCorner: BglI, HindIII, HindIII/SmaI, KpnI, SacI and SmaI.

Part of the ACTB promoter and the entire mouse Cdh3 sequence were sequenced at BCCM/GeneCorner.
