Selection marker: Ampicillin (amp)
Neomycin (neo; G418)
Replicon: Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Phage f1 origin

Host range: Escherichia coli
Mammalian cells; SV40 permissive cells
Parental clone: pDONR AtSerpin (At1g47710); pCD-F-MK-p20
Further information: The plasmid was created by PCR amplifying the wild type Arabidopsis SERPINB1 coding sequence from pDONR AtSerpin (At1g47710) and ligating it as a KpnI/ApaI restricted fragment into pCD-F-MK-p20, replacing the human MALT1 fragment.
The pasmid encodes for the wild type Arabidopsis SERPINB1, containing I348, K349, L350 and R351.
The parental clone of this vector has been shown to provide resistance to kanamycin, although growth was reduced compared to growth on medium containing ampicillin.
The nucleotide sequence of the wild type Arabidopsis SERPINB1 coding sequence corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number BT008481.1.
Other name of the plasmid is pCD-F-AtSerpin-IKLR.
EMBL Accession number: BT008481.1, view at EMBL, GenBank, DDBJ
