Host range: Escherichia coli
Mammalian cells; SV40 permissive cells
Parental clone: pcDNA3.1-Flag
Further information: The plasmid was constructed by inserting a 719 bp BamHI-ApaI fragment, containing the human BCL10 coding sequence, between the BamHI and ApaI site of pcDNA3.1-Flag.
The protein encoded by the wild type BCL10 gene contains a caspase recruitment domain (CARD), induces apoptosis and activates NF-κB. The L41Q mutation would disrupt dimerisation of BCL10 and prevent NF-κB activation of the MLT-BCL10 complex.
The parental clone of this vector has been shown to provide resistance to kanamycin, although growth was reduced compared to growth on medium containing ampicillin.
The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT726919.1.
The nucleotide sequence of the human BCL10 cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number AF082283.1.
Other name of the plasmid is pCD-Bcl10.
