Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by cloning an N-terminal fragment of the human MALT1 coding sequence, containing amino acids 1 up to and including 149 encoding the death domain, into the pCD-F vector. The bio-tag is biotinylated by cotransfection with the plasmid pMSCV-F-BirA and can be used for highly efficient purification. The parental clone of this vector has been shown to provide resistance to kanamycin, although growth was reduced compared to growth on medium containing ampicillin. The nucleotide sequence of the wild type human MALT1 cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number AF130356.2. |
