| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by creating the P2A sequence via oligo pair hybridization and cloning it into the SpeI/BstXI opened pEF6/Myc-HisA vector. This is a cloning vector with a 22AA self-cleaving P2A peptide, fulfilling the same role as an IRES, but with a much shorter sequence. |
