Further information: The plasmid was constructed as follows: full-length mouse caspase-2 cDNA was isolated from a L929r2 cDNA library and inserted into the EcoRI site of pGAD424. The orientation of the inserted fragment appeared to be antisense relative to the ADH1 promoter.
The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727272.1.
The nucleotide sequence of the mCASP-2 cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number BC034262.1, except for some 3' UTR nucleotides which correspond to the genomic sequence. These differences are described in the EMBL record.
Other name of the plasmid is pgadF72.
