Further information: The plasmid was constructed as follows: the dG/dC-tailed cDNA of STNV was inserted into the unique PstI site of a modified pPLc2820: at the 3' end of the STNV gene, the PstI site is located next to the SalI site and the XbaI site in between is lost. The inserted STNV fragment is complete.
