Further information: | The plasmid was constructed as follows: the dG/dC-tailed cDNA of STNV was inserted into the unique PstI site of a modified pPLc2820: at the 3' end of the STNV gene, the PstI site is located next to the SalI site and the XbaI site in between is lost. The inserted STNV fragment is complete. Detailed construction information can be found in Van Emmelo et al. (1984), fig. 1 p. 34. Names mentioned in the reference are pCP403 and pSTNV403. Other name of the plasmid is pSTPU1. |
