| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by inserting the XbaI-HindIII fragment from pUC19muBAX, containing the α variant of the mouse Bcl2-associated X cDNA (mBAX) into the XbaI-HindIII opened pSCGAL1-L plasmid. pSCGAL1mBAX-L is an integrative expression plasmid for the mouse Bax-α protein in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. After BstEII linearisation in its LEU2 element, single-copy genomical integration leads to stable expression. The nucleotide sequence of the mBAX cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number L22472.1. Other names of the plasmid are YIpUTL-muBax, YIpUTLB and pSCGALmBAX1. |
