Plasmid name: pSV23S (LMBP 1195)
|New search||Print data sheet|
|Price category:||Cat. 1 (cf. price list)|
|Status:||GeneCorner core plasmid|
(View with Genome Compiler)
|Promoter:||Simian virus 40 early promoter (SV40 early)|
|Terminator:||Simian virus 40 polyadenylation signal (SV40 polyA)|
|Selection marker:||Ampicillin (amp)|
|Replicon:||Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Simian virus 40 bidirectional origin (SV40)
|Host range:||Escherichia coli
Mammalian cells; SV40 permissive cells
|Parental clone:||pSV22S; pURSV(A)tss+C4|
|Further information:||Designed for transient expression in COS cells and constitutive expression in CHO cells (cotransfection with DHFR plasmids).
Expression sites: AccI, HindIII, SalI and XbaI which are all unique.
It is presumably possible to clone into the unique AvrII and/or unique StuI sites for expression, but this has not been tested.
The plasmid contains the SV40 small t-antigen splicing signal.
Since the prokaryotic part is derived from pAT153, there are no 'poison' sequences present.
Other name of the plasmid is pSVd2-3tss+.
