Medium 1039, 20°C, CH4:Air 50:50
|
Remarks: |
Does not grow on solid media. Fill the culture vessel not more than 20 % growth medium. Add methane to the headspace at 20-50% of the headspace volume. The strain grows best with shaking (100rpm or slower). Do not ever warm the cells above 26°C. To resuscitate, transfer as quicly as feasible the content from the cryovial to fresh growth medium at a 1:100 dilution (to dilute the DMSO); do not warm the frozen stock |
