History: | N. spumigena strain CCY9414 was obtained from the Culture Collection Yerseke (CCY) at the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research. It was isolated from surface waters of the Baltic Sea, east of the island of Bornholm (Hayes and Barker, 1997). |
