Identification of living monoclonal algae cultures

At BCCM/DCG, living (non-axenic) monoclonal algae cultures can be identified, based on 

• morphology: light microscopy or scanning electron microscopy
• molecular data: COX1, LSU, ITS, rbcL, SSU
