  • Protect the rights of our clients and partners, academic or industrial;

  • Ensure quality service.

It addresses, among others, the following issues and regulations:

  • Convention on Biological Diversity and its Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing

  • Regulation EU 511/2014 on compliance measures for users from the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization in the Union, as well as its Commission Implementing Regulation  EU 2015/1866

  • Intellectual Property Rights

  • Quality

  • Safety and Security

The distribution policy is translated into the MATERIAL TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA). The MTA details the Terms and Conditions applicable to the use, handling, supply, distribution, sale, and any disposition of material distributed by BCCM collections.
