| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by cloning the synthetic Trichoplax PCASP sequence into the pDONR221 vector via Gateway recombination. Trichoplax sequences are typically much more A/T rich than human sequences. Consequently, they are poorly expressed in humans. A series of synthetic constructs with synonymous substitutions were used to investigate the A/T content effect on protein expression. Other name of the plasmid is pENTR221-TaPCASP-WT. |
