-
Terminator: Simian virus 40 polyadenylation signal (SV40 polyA)
Selection marker: Ampicillin (amp)
Gentamicin (Gm)
Replicon: Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Phage f1 origin
Host range: Escherichia coli
Insect cells; e.g. Sf9 cells
Parental clone: pFastBac1
Further information: The plasmid was constructed by cloning the human GABBR2 coding sequence with the C-terminal Clover reporter gene into the pFastBac1 vector.
The plasmid contains Tn7 transposon elements, allowing site-directed transposition in the E. coli DH10Bac strain.
The C-terminal Clover reporter gene and the C-terminal His-tag can be removed from the encoded protein through the HRV-3C protease cleavage site or PreScission site.
Other name of the plasmid is pFastBac1-GBR2-Clover-His.
