| Further information: | This expression vector is useful for the synthesis of a synthetic human ubiquitin, fused to the C-terminus of S. japonicum GST, in E. coli. The N-terminal GST carrier can be cleaved from the fusion protein by digestion with a site-specific thrombin protease. The nucleotide sequence of the pGEX-4T3 vector backbone corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database Accession number U13855.1. The nucleotide sequence of the hUb cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database Accession number M17524.1. The region from the end of the ampicillin resistance gene up to the start of the GST cds, corresponding with nucleotides 3612 up to and including 4782, was sequenced by LMBP. |
