| Further information: | This vector was derived from pSV23IVNA by introducing an NcoI site after the 41st codon of the A/Victoria/3/75 influenza neuraminidase gene (IVNA), using the site-specific mutagenesis protocol described in Morinaga et al. (1984). This plasmid is useful for isolation of mature neuraminidase cDNA without the N-terminal membrane anchor sequence as an NcoI/HindIII fragment. The introduction of the NcoI site gave rise to C42S, D43M and S44A mutations in the IVNA coding sequence. The nucleotide sequence of wild type IVNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number CY015510.1. Other name of the plasmid is pSV23IVNAN. |
