Further information: This plasmid was constructed by introducing a N200Q mutation in the IVNA coding sequence of pSV23IVNAm10, using the site-specific mutagenesis protocol described in Morinaga et al. (1984).
This plasmid was constructed to investigate the protective potential of neuraminidase mutants towards different influenza strains.
The IVNA coding sequence includes the following mutations: C42S, D43M, S44A, C78R, a silent mutation in codon 79, N146Q, N200Q, K328A, N329G, R331A, S334G, T336A, N339G, K344A, a silent mutation in codon 345, N346A, H347A, S367A, E368A, D369G, S400A, A401G, R403G and E431G.
The nucleotide sequence of wild type IVNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number CY015510.1.
Other name of the plasmid is pSV23IVdNAN10.
EMBL Accession number: CY015510.1, view at EMBL, GenBank, DDBJ
