| Further information: | To make this plasmid, the HA1 SalI fragment from pIVHA1 was cloned anticlockwise into the SalI sites of pSV51. The lac operons and the fd terminators of pSV51 were lost. This vector codes for membrane bound (wild-type) A/Victoria/3/75 haemagglutinin and can produce 10 billion molecules per COS-cell in two days after transfection. Name mentioned in Huylebroeck et al. (1988) is pSV51HA1m. |
