| Further information: | pSV-SportlacZEMCVFluc is a dicistronic expression vector with the internal ribosome entry site (IRES) of the encephalomyocarditis virus in the intercistronic region between upstream lacZ and downstream Fluc coding sequences. The IRES can drive translation of the downstream Fluc sequence independently of the 5'-cap structure bound to the 5'-end of the mRNA molecule. The nucleotide sequence of the lacZ coding sequence corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number V00296.1. The nucleotide sequence of the Fluc coding sequence corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number M15077.1. |
