| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by cloning the coding sequence of the P. aeruginosa GspL (UNIPROT ID: P25060) transmembrane domain and periplasmic domain into the NheI/BamHI opened pToxRVIII vector. The plasmid encodes for the cytosolic domain of V. cholerae ToxR, linked to E. coli MalE via the mutated transmembrane - and periplasmic domains of the P. aeruginosa GspL (amino acids 235 up to and including 382). This chimeric protein is constitutively expressed via the native ToxR promoter. Other name of the plasmid is pToxRVIII-GspL_tmp. |
