Further information: | The λN22 protein recognises a 15 nt RNA stem-loop (box-B) with high specificity. Fused to the fluorescent mCherry tag, this system can be used to visualise the localisation of RNAs in plant cells. Target RNAs can be introduced by Gateway recombination with p35S:16xBoxB-Gateway-BASTA (LMBP 9017). The λN22/box-B system is well suited for low-background and high-throughput studies. Other names of the plasmid are pSCJ270 and pUbi:lambdaN-mCherry BASTA. |

Authenticity test: | Restriction enzyme pattern analysed at GeneCorner: EcoRI, HincII, NotI and PstI. As compared to the nucleotide sequence file, the HincII site at position 4139 appears to be absent, while an additional PstI site appears to be present. |
