| Further information: | This plasmid was constructed by inserting a fragment of the hTNFR75 cDNA as an EcoRI fragment of (+-) 2400 nucleotides into the unique EcoRI site of pUC19, in the sense orientation relative to the lac promoter. The signal sequence and approx. 28 nucleotides of the 5' side of the mature human TNF receptor p75 gene are absent. This plasmid is useful as a probe. When cloning a fragment downstream from the lac promoter it may be advisable to use lacI(q) strains in order to prevent fortuitous expression of a possibly noxious polypeptide. The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727529.1. |
