Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by deleting a 429 bp fragment between the SV40 small t-antigen and the SV40 polyA site and a 664 bp fragment between the SV40 polyA site and the ampicillin resistance coding sequence of pXP2. The plasmid is meant for promoter analysis, using luciferase as a reporter for the activity of the cloned promoter. Other name of the plasmid is pXP2Δ2. |
