These Gateway vectors are part of a two-component system for in vivo visualisation of RNA in plant cells.
LMBP 9017 is meant to introduce target RNA, fused to 16 N-terminal boxB loops, which are recognised by the λN22 protein present in one of the corresponding fluorescence markers vectors (LMBP 9019 up to and including 9025).
The λN22/box-B system is well suited for low-background and high-throughput studies.
LMBP 9026 is meant to introduce target RNA, fused to 6 N-terminal MS2 loops, which are recognised by the MS2-CP protein present in one of the corresponding fluorescence markers vectors (LMBP 9028 up to and including 9035).
