The plasmid is meant for the constitutive expression of the SUMO- and His-tagged P. hybrida F3GalT in E. coli Origami2 DE3. The nucleotide sequence of the P. hybrida F3GalT coding sequence was codon optimised for expression in E. coli. The nucleotide sequence of the wild type P. hybrida F3GalT coding sequence corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number AF165148.1.
