Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by deleting the SacII-XhoI fragment from pFBR-neo. The SacII and XhoI termini were converted to blunt ends using E. coli DNA polymerase I (Klenow) and T4 polymerase, and were ligated with T4 ligase. The XhoI site was regenerated. Since the sequence of the rat cellular DNA is not known (SNK on the map), there is uncertainty as to the cutting frequency of the restriction enzymes indicated. The fox part contains non specified cellular rat and/or mouse DNA (Van Beveren, Virology 135). The nucleotide sequence of the FBR-MuSV corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number K02712.2. Other name of the plasmid is pFBRΔfos-neo. |
