| Further information: | cDNA of the matrix gene from the recombinant virus X31, originally derived from the human strain A/Puerto Rico/8/34(H1N1), was inserted in the unique PstI site of pBR322 by dA-dT tailing. The IPM cDNA insert ends at the T nucleotide of the TAA termination codon of the second open reading frame (or M2?); the 3' UTR of this open reading frame (or M2?) is completely missing. The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727582.1. The nucleotide sequence of pBR322 corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number J01749.1. The nucleotide sequence of the IPM cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number J02145.1. Other name of the plasmid is pXVII35. |
