Genecorner:

-

Cloned DNA: Influenza A virus (A/Victoria/3/1975(H3N2)) haemagglutinin cDNA (HA, IVHA)
Promoter: -
Ribosome
binding site:
-
Terminator: -
Selection marker: Tetracycline (tet)
Replicon: Escherichia coli plasmid pMB1 origin
Host range: Escherichia coli
Parental clone: pBR322
Further information: cDNA of the A/Victoria/3/75 influenza haemagglutinin gene (IVHA) was inserted in the unique PstI site of pBR322 by dA/dT-tailing. 24 nucleotides at the end of the 3' UTR of IVHA are missing.
This wild type haemagglutinin coding sequence is also called membrane-bound haemagglutinin (HAm); it includes the sequences coding for the intramembranous part and the cytoplasmic tail of the protein.
The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727608.1.
Name mentioned in Min Jou et al. (1980) is pVHA14.
