| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by PCR amplifying the Y. enterocolitica yscP388 from pCA20 and cloning it into the EcoRI/SalI opened pSTW14 plasmid. Y. enterocolitica yscP388 is a derivative of yscP in which the spacer between the two export signals (codons 46-96) and one copy of the repeats in the central part (codons 222-306) have been removed. Y. enterocolitica yscP686 is a derivative of yscP in which an additional copy of codons 214-374 has been inserted between codons 250 and 251. Other name of the plasmid is pBAD:yscP388+, yscP686+. |
