| Further information: | To make this plasmid, the HA8s BamHI fragment from pUR250IVHA8s was inserted in the BamHI sites of pSV51. The lac operons and the fd terminators of pSV51 were lost. Due to the fusion of the sequences from HA8s with SV40 sequences, a termination codon was generated very close to the BamHI site, so that only two heterologous amino acids (Gln and Thr) were added to Ile (amino acid 186). Name mentioned in Huylebroeck et al. (1988) is pSV51HA8s-46. |
