| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by PCR amplifying the human EF1a-HTLV promoter from pUNO and cloning it as a blunted BamHI fragment into the BglII/MscI opened pT2/BH vector, next to the left transposon arm. The T2 transposon arms are smaller and about 4 times more active than the wild-type transposon arms. This plasmid can be combined with another pT2/BH-derived plasmid with terminator (and possibly selectable marker) cloned close to the right transposon arm. |
