| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by cloning the T. rubrum MDR2 coding sequence into the pYES2 yeast expression vector. The plasmid contains the GAL1 promoter for inducible expression of genes by galactose and repression by glucose. The T. rubrum MDR2 coding sequence shows close homology to the A. fumigatus MDR1 coding sequence. The plasmid pYES2-TruMDR2 is also available in Saccharomyces cerevisiae under accession number LMBP 12075. The nucleotide sequence of the T. rubrum MDR2 cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number MK787262.1. Other name of the plasmid is pYES2_TruMDR2. |
