| Further information: | The plasmid was constructed by inserting the mouse caspase-1 cDNA into the pGEM-11Zf(+) vector. The orientation of the insert is sense relative to the T7 promoter. When cloning a fragment downstream from the lac promoter it may be advisable to use lacI(q) strains in order to prevent fortuitous expression of a possibly noxious polypeptide. The nucleotide sequence of this plasmid corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number LT727277.1. The nucleotide sequence of the mouse CASP-1 cDNA corresponds with the EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database accession number BC008152.1, except for some nucleotides in the 3' UTR. Other name of the plasmid is pGEM11fullICE. |
