Parental clone: | pHT304-18Z |
Further information: | The plasmid was created by inserting the cytK promoter, obtained from B. cereus ATCC 14579 genomic DNA, and the CFPopt gene, obtained from the pSW4-CFPopt plasmid (Sastalla et al. 2009), in the pHT304-18Z plasmid (Agaisse & Lereclus 1994). The plasmid-carrying strain was an intermediate in the construction of the B. cereus reporter strain for CytK toxin expression. This plasmid is also available in the host strain "Bacillus cereus Frankland and Frankland 1887 AL" under accession number LMBP 07642. Other name of the plasmid is pHT304-CytK-CFPopt. |

Authenticity test: | Restriction enzyme pattern analysed at GeneCorner: BamHI, EcoRI, EcoRV, HincII and PvuI. As compared to the compiled nucleotide sequence, there is an extra HincII site in the lacZ cds. The EcoRV site at position 927 is located around positoin 1250. The EcoRI site at position 1372 could not be experimentally confirmed. |
